Manyana Dreaming

The life and travels of the Kemp Family

New Hampshire

We have had a full day today ,we have driven around the environs of Henniker soaking up the feel of this part of the world . Every village seems the same , white two story clap board homes , white churches with tall steeples , lots of autumn foliage , it’s not hard to get lost , every town you enter looks like the one before.

We are staying in a B&B on the banks of the Contoocook River . I think I’ve inserted a picture of me on the balcony at happy hour .

We’ve encountered our first of many covered bridges ,and I’m sure I’ll have as many pictures of them as I will have of lighthouses . There are also a lot of stone bridges built in the late 1700s .

Tomorrow we are heading North again , up to White Mountains , but we have a lunch engagement first with our good friends Brian and Sue Rudder .

A few pics below of today’s activities
